California’s criminal justice reform movement has built tremendous momentum and is positioned to win deep, transformative change that will end mass incarceration’s harm, secure justice, and invest in our families and communities.
On December 5, 2019, please join policy, grassroots and movement leaders from around the state in Los Angeles. During the one-day summit, together we will chart concrete strategies to protect our victories and achieve bold reform on critical issues, including: closing prisons; divesting from incarceration and investing in health, restorative justice, education and youth development; ending youth incarceration; fully restoring the rights of formerly incarcerated and convicted people; stopping police violence and over-policing; prosecutor and sheriff accountability; ending the incarceration of women and girls; ending the criminalization of immigrant communities, and more.
